صرح قائد أركان الجيش الليبي اللواء يوسف المنقوش لمراسل أخبار الآن في بنغازي أن العمل قائم على قدم وساق لضم الثوار المدنيين تحت مظلة الجيش الليبي .
وأضاف المنقوش أن جيش ليبيا الجديدة سيكون قائما على عقيدة عسكرية صحيحة وسيكون ولاؤه للوطن وليس للأشخاص ويخضع للسلطة المدنية من دون التدخل فيها

Today we received a group of 5000 rebels, they represent the first group and other groups will follow.

We will focus on rebuilding and enabling the army and to build our future army that fulfills our ambitions which is the professional and trained army that depends on quality not big numbers with loyalty for Allah and the state, the army will be the protector of the constitution and will not be loyal to any person and it will be a professional army that submits to the civil and political authorities and the parliament.
