نظمت الجبهة ُ الوطنية لانقاذ ليبيا ندوة ًنسائية حول دورِ المرأة الليبية في اتخاذ القرارِ وقد اعرب عدد من النساء عن املهِن في دورٍ اكبر للمرأة الليبية في مرحلة ما بعد القذافي مشيرات الى انهن يرغبن في تأسيس دولة مدنية ينعم فيها كل الليبيين بالحرية والعدالة.

The National Front for the Salvation of Libya organized a seminar about women role in making decisions and future political life in Libya. A number of women expressed their hope for a bigger role for women in the phase after Gaddafi, referring that they want to establish a civil society were all Libyans have freedom and justice.

We came today to discuss the current situation and the political future of the country from women perspective. We noticed that women are neglected and pushed away from political life and we came here to say that if the entire society, men and women, did not participate in the political life in the country then a new civil state will not happen. We want to emphasis on womens role and activate their political role, also put womens abilities in building this country.

We are trying to practice political life because our goal is to live free and with dignity, and achieve democracy and equality. We want women to be part of decision making here and we want to a party called Democratic National Party.

Libyan women can enter the political arena because they are talented. Women was deprived from participating in political life during Gaddafi time, but now Libyan women are participating in different kinds of political activities.

After many years abroad I returned to libya. When I was young, Gaddafi regime started to take little girls and put them in the army, many Libyan families put their daughters home and my father took us out of the country.
