Internet played a great role in Libya to show what the Libyan people are going through, today after internet services retreated in Libya, it became hard for Libyans to communicate with the outer world.

Ali is one of the the 17th of February youths, he helped in showing the suffering of Libyans by documenting what happened during the revolution online. Today, Ali is facing difficulties because of the poor internet connection and the low level of services by Libyan companies.

Internet connect is worse than before, the speed is low.
Internet cafes are the only place where internet users are satisfied by the services, though Libyan mobile company offer internet services but many users are not using these services because of the slow connection speed and the continuous connection failure.

The internet was better before the revolution, but now we cannot get a connection unless we tried for a long time.

Downloading takes a lot of time, that is why I come to the internet cafe because it is faster.
We visited internet service provider company in Libya, Libya Telecom & Technology, Alaan TV tried to inform about the reason behind why internet often disconnects in the last period which increases the users suffering, and why is the service weaker than before.

We tried to get four more lines from Egypt, and we were able to get them, we are just waiting to complete the deal with Egypt so we would improve our services.
Lately, internet services provided by Libya Telecom & Technology were poor. After we visited the companys offices to look into the issue, the companys specialists said that this issue will be solved in one week, and soon it will be just a history.
