Jenan Moussa - Interview with Iman al-Obeidi cousin
Iman al-Obeidi is a Libyan woman raped by Gaddafi troops, Jenan Moussa Interviewed her cousin:
• Iman was graduated from Az Zawia law school, and her sister Amaal is married with two kids and works in Tripoli, Iman always visits her sister and help her in looking after her children.
• Iman was on her way to Tripoli to visit her sister, on the road there are security barricades, the troops caught her and raped her.
• Gaddafi troops killed her sisters husband and took her nephew, we want to say the truth, this girl was graduated from law school, they claim that she is suffering from a psychological problem, but this is not true unless they hit her on the head to cause her a psychological problem, but we know their acts.
• Iman is not crazy, how can the law allow her to graduate from law school? How can an ill person take care of her sisters children.
• Her family believe that she is dead after Gaddafi troops took her, Imans brother-in-law was killed and her nephew was kidnapped, they would probably make her sister Amaal confess under arms threat on TV today and claim that her sister Iman suffers from a a psychological problem.
• What police would help us? Her sister used to work in Tripoli and after the revolution began Tripoli turned into a big prison, all phone calls are cut and we can only call those who have Thuraya phone, Amaal told me that their lives now is all about finding food, water and fuel.
• I dont want to send a message to Gaddafi because he lies all the time and his troops are also like him, but they must know that Muammar is finished now, Iman showed the true face of Gaddafi.
• We know now that these girls either will come out of prison unstable or they will be killed.
• I called Fadel her uncle and he said that her brother-in-law was killed and the boy is kidnapped.
• Iman is 29 years old, I was surprised to see my cousin on TV channels but not surprised to know what Gaddafi troops did, you will fill papers about Gaddafis villainy when this end, there is nothing new about that.
• Gaddafis media must choose wether Iman was crazy or drunk, how she was able to reach the hotel if she was drunk?
