بمناسبة الذكرى الثالثة والثلاثين لثورة الخميني عام تسعة وسبعين قامت القوات الجوية الإيرانية بإعادة تمثيل مشهد عودة قائد الثورة الخميني في مطار طهران ، مع صناعة مجسما للخميني وهو يهبط من الطائرة، ويسير في موكب للحرس الايراني.
ورغم أن الخميني كان موضعَ توافق كل الطبقات السياسية والاجتماعية المناضلة ضد حكم الشاه إبان الثورة ، غير أنه الآن لم يعد كذلك . وأيُ محاولة لتمجيده وتمجيد تراثه تبدو لدى بعض المراقبين عابثة ً ومدعاة ً للسخرية وأضحوكة ً بين الإيرانيين في الداخل والخارج.
Iran symbolizes return of Imam Khomeini after 1979 revolution with cardboard cutout
To commemorate the 33rd anniversary for Khomeini Revolution in 1979, the Iranian air force tried to sumbolize the scene of the Revolution leader Khomeini arriving to Tehran airpot. A large cardboard cutout of Imam Khomeini exiting a plane as he is saluted by young soldiers. Though Khomeini was approved by all political and social levels struggled against the Shah, but now this is not the case anymore, and any attempt to glorify him and honor his legacy seems to many observers absurd and a matter of laughter among Iranians inside and outside the country.
